Choosing A Tutor:
In Person or Virtual Tutoring
For the first time ever, we are offering both math and science tutoring in person and online! Below are our current tutors, their rates and the subject levels in which they tutor. Tutors have been listed in order based on their levels of education.
Tamari ($30/hr.)
Though once a student of TMB Tutoring, Tamari is now both a senior and one of the newest tutors partnering with TMB Tutoring! During her time as a student, she excelled in her high school math courses and offers tutoring for Elementary and Middle School Math levels. Tamari has tutored now for 3+ years and aspires to continue growing in her ability to teach and inspire younger students.

Michael Bowers ($50/hr.)
Mike is Georgia state certified to teach 6-12th grade math and has served as a long term substitute for a year in the school system. He has been tutoring for 12+ years and started TMB Tutoring in Spring of 2016. Mike has the most experience in teaching Middle School Math, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry and Pre-Calculus.

Yolanda Payton ($70/hr.)
Yolanda has obtained a Masters in Teaching Chemistry and taught for 8+ years in the school system. She began tutoring 8 years ago and specializes in Middle School Science, Physical Science, Chemistry and Physics. Additionally, she coaches cross country and track.
Phil Adams ($80/hr.)
Phil has both tutored and taught in the school system for 10+ years. He majored in Family Consumer Sciences Education and is certified to teach math for 6-12th grade. Phil specializes in Middle School Math, Algebra 1 & 2 and has coached track and worked at the Summer Institute for the gifted at Emory.
