What grades do you tutor?
We specialize in tutoring Middle School Math through Pre-Calculus (excluding Statistics). Recently, we have added science tutoring also (Middle School Science, Physical Science, Chemistry & Physics) which is an option based on the availability of our science tutor(s).
What is the best method of payment?
Payments can be accepted through Paypal or our Square platform which will be found on your invoice.
What if I have to cancel a session?
If you have to cancel an upcoming session, we ask that you call or text the tutor directly to communicate the cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled tutoring time. We understand that things can come up last minute, but please contact your tutor as soon as you know that you will not be able to attend your tutoring session.
Not calling at all to cancel is considered a “No call, No show." Three “No call, No shows” within one semester may result in your future scheduled dates being cancelled and filled by another client.
What if I feel my student has not received adequate tutoring from a session or tutor?
If you feel that you have not received adequate tutoring based on your child’s need, firstly we as company apologize for not providing you with 5-star service and ask that you allow us to make it right. In such a situation, we ask that you email or contact TMB Tutoring, explain the situation in full detail and leaving your contact information so that we can return your call. From there, we can look into providing a replacement session, a refund, or replacing your tutor with another tutor who better fits your needs.
Do you assign homework?
With all of our remote services (One-on-One, Summer Courses & Test Prep), students will typically be assigned practice work either on a weekly basis or by the frequency of our scheduled sessions, whichever is more frequent. Parents/guardians are expected to encourage students to complete weekly assignments which result in greater speed, accuracy and understanding.
Do you tutor in person?
Currently, there are only a select few tutors that offer tutoring in person. To find out who tutors in person, scan our list of tutors and you will see whether or not they offer in person to their right (see available tutors).
What is your Privacy Policy?
TMB Tutoring recognizes the importance of keeping the personal information we collect private. We do not provide any of your information to other companies or organizations unless we have received your consent or personal request to do so.
